In order to secure your passport, you must:

• be 16 years of age or older
• include two identical passport photos with your application (NOTE: These photos must be signed by your guarantor)
• provide your original birth certificate or other proof of Canadian citizenship
• provide your passport, no less than six months from expiry
• ensure that your guarantor's signature is on the application
